If you have thrown one theme party, you for sure know how hard it is to keep up with the trends and still remain fresh with each themed event. A wise man by the name Bernard Berenson said consistency requires you to be as ignorant as you were a year ago and to be honest, this is tough. But luckily for you and me, we now have the internet to help us share ideas and create new ones. Here for you are a few theme ideas that you can totally pull off for your next party.
Once you read the title, there are two things that come to mind. One, the alphabet and two, well letters. To the millenials, letters are written, typed, or printed communication sent in an envelope by post or messenger. With this one, you are spoilt for choice. You can do the former and have your guests dressed in various renditions of the 26 letters of the alphabet. The latter is where my bias lies because there are a number of ways in which you can change up this theme. You can plan an event around postage so basically have your decor around things to with posting mail or draw inspiration from the various fonts used over time to write letters. This theme can even be merged with a literary theme and have people dressed as their favorite literary characters.
The name is in the title with this one. Get creative and have your friends dress up as their favorite memes. This will ensure everyone is having a good time cracking up with everyone’s outfits.
I SHOULDN’T BE HERE PARTY
This is a theme with a difference, the idea is to come as something that you wouldn’t normally find at a party. Imagine you are on your way somewhere. Think a job interview, a wedding, a funeral, a trek across the desert, a date, a football match, a deep-sea diving expedition, a nudist beach, the possibilities are endless! And you accidentally end up at a party. So maybe you could come as a wild animal though there’s often plenty of those in parties or maybe you could come as a giant baby. Your guests will have a great time coming up with outfit ideas and an even better time at the party revelling in each other’s craziness. The best part of this theme is you do not need to go crazy with the décor. All you need is good food, good music and a good flow of draaanks!
Pyjama parties have been around for a while and they’re not going out anytime soon. The thing with this theme is that it is easy to plan and execute. You can even save a buck by combining it with a breakfast theme. Have your friends dress up in cute pyjamas then provide comfort breakfast food such as pancakes and donuts.
The best part about these themes is that you can do it yourself. They are simple enough for you to do it but still quirky and trendy enough to have you looking as an amazing themed party host. However if you’re looking for something a bit more elaborate, contact us at email@example.com.
